Our Local Butcher has finally brought the traditional butchers shop into the 21st century and right to your door. Just like traditional butchers we only use suppliers we know and trust. The majority of our meat is locally sourced in Chelmsford but unlike the traditional butchers all our meat is freshly prepared and ready for your oven, grill or BBQ.

When it comes to feeding you and your family you can be sure that you are eating ready to cook meals that are healthier, lower in salt, sugar and saturated fats than processed ready meals.

We post short videos via social media to show exactly how each item is made so you can see (if you would like to!) how we turn our chickens into your Kiev or watch how a whole lamb is broken down ready for you to roast on Sunday. We want our customers to once again have complete confidence in the food they eat.

As you select your meat dish via the online shop we provide handy ‘just add’ tips to help you know what goes best with your meat of choice to help you create quick, easy and exciting meals every day.

During the summer we offer an extensive range of BBQ foods and when it comes to the Christmas Turkey why not try one of our boned, rolled and stuffed turkey breasts!

You can come and see us at Stock Brook Farm Shop and Nursery or for orders over £25 you can simply order online for free home delivery. A next working day click and collect service is available if you are outside of the delivery area. All our deliveries are made in refrigerated vans and will be delivered to your door on a set day of the week depending on your location and at a time that suits you!

* Local meat from farms in Great Leighs and East Hanningfield. When requests for certain cuts of meat exceed supply British Meat is sourced from high welfare farms via London’s Smithfield meat market.
